Skelmersdale Prize Band currently has the following vacancies:

• Front Row (Tutti) Cornet (or position negotiable on ability)

• Bass (Either Bb or Eb negotiable)

• Percussion

• MUSICAL DIRECTOR We are currently accepting applications for a dynamic. motivated and passionate musical director to take the reins. Our band has risen from the Fourth to First Section in Consecutive years and maintained our position in the First Section in the North West Area. We have a highly experienced core band membership, many of our players have played in Championship Section Bands which gives our band exciting prospects for the future. We want the best for our band and community in Skelmersdale.We are looking for someone who has experience and a proven track record of conducting higher section bands and the ability to cope with a demanding First Section and above contest and enjoyable concert repertoire.

• We rehears Monday and Thursdays 8pm - 10pm in our own purpose built bandroom in Skelmersdale. Easy access from M6 and M58
